The express check-in and check-out process was straightforward, allowing for a hassle-free transition to the charming old town—only a short Uber ride away for just 17 lei, or a quaint bus journey that I found agreeable. It is worth noting that despite the hostel label, the separate room offered ample privacy and intimacy. The hospitality was commendable; Hassan was ever-present without being obtrusive. In terms of value proposition, Casa Popa cleverly balances low-cost accommodation with essential comforts. A wise choice for budget-conscious travellers who still seek the charm of modern convenience amidst a rich historical backdrop.
